These were the notes prepared by me for a 20 minutes presentation at the above conference on the sub-topic of 'Peace and Justice'. The conference was organized jointly by The Perdana Global Peace Organization, the Kuala Lumpur Foundation to Criminalize War and The Perdana Leadership Foundation. These organizations are led by Yang Amat Berbahagia Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. These notes would take about 40 minutes to read but I have summarised the salient points into a 20 minutes presentation.

MENYONGSONG FAJAR BARU MALAYSIA
BANGGA DAN LEGA
1. Alhamdulillah, setelah lama saya tidak hadir dalam Perhimpunan Agong UMNO hari ini saya merasa bangga kerana turut hadir. Seorang pemberita Melayu telah bertanya pada saya di dalam bahasa Inggeris ' What do you think of the speech' dan saya secara spontan menjawab 'It is sunshine after a very long bad weather'.
2. Saya berasa lega dan bangga kerana dapat mendengar sendiri YAB Dato' Seri Najib Tun Razak menyampaikan ucapan sulongnya sebagai Presiden UMNO, di dalam Perhimpunan Agong UMNO yang pertama beliau hadir sebagai Presiden. Ucapan ini telah berjaya menjelaskan banyak sangkaan tidak tepat terhadap beliau kerana kenyataan dan tindakannya sebagai Perdana Menteri sejak beliau mengambil alih jawatan.
